In searching for "Audrey Schank" online, I found a great deal of information about a Ball State University swimmer by the same name. It took a bit of digging around to actually find information about myself. I am an introvert and value my privacy, so posting things about myself online is not something I do often. I have a Facebook and Pinterest account, but rarely post on them. When I do set-up an account, I always change everything to "private" whenever possible. This may be why there is less information about me than there may be for others. Surprisingly, when I searched my 15 year-old daughter's name, I found many more photos. I think this is due to the fact that teenagers spend so much time communicating online and are often not concerned with their privacy in these situations.

In my online search I found:

- Facebook page

- Pinterest account

- Personal information listed on clustermaps.com and peoplefinders.com (While not all information was accurate, it did list my age, home address with map, relatives, education level, and old home telephone number.)

- Employment information on our school website (photo, position, email address)

- Workshop presentation on prezi.com

- Image search showed obituaries for my mom, grandmother, and grandfather, as well as photos of my co-workers

- Video search only showed the slide show from my grandfather's funeral

I feel like my search has shown that I do not have much of a digital footprint, especially compared to the other person with the same name! It will be interesting to see how this changes after adding more online accounts.
